Simple natural ways to improve the condition of dry hair.
1 Dry and fine hair needs to be cut regularly as the ends are brittle and easily broken.

2 After washing it is best to let your hair dry naturally. If you do use a hairdryer use it on a cool setting and keep it a good distance away from your head.

3 When brushing your hair hold your head to the side and rotate the brush (a
    bristle brush
is best). In this way you will close the shaft of the hair, which will make it shine.

4 Add some nourishing oils to your shampoo by adding a few drops of any of the following oils: evening primrose oil, borage, sunflower, jojoba and almond.

5 You can also add essential oils of frankincense, palmarosa and sandalwood to your shampoo or conditioner.

6 Condition your dry hair with rich foods such as egg yolk, avocado and yoghurt. Try mixing egg yolk and honey together for a moisturising hair mask. Leave for 2 hours before washing off.

7 A good treatment for your dry hair is to mix a few drops of essential oil into melted coconut, almond or olive oil and apply directly on to the ends of your hair or even to the whole scalp and head.
This helps prevent the ends from splitting annd is a bourishing treatment for the hair and scalp generally.

8 To soften dry hair use a little moisturiser or hair balm after drying your hair; lightly apply the moisturiser or balm to the ends of the hair to help close the hair shaft and create a protective film around it. If you have short hair, using a greater amount of hair balm should improve the overall look of your hair and give it lots of shine.
